Karen’s easy charm and laid-back attitude has a captivating effect when speaking with her. But don’t underestimate her relaxed demeanor: Karen is an accomplished paralegal with over two decades of experience in civil and family law. Clients and colleagues know that Karen’s work ethic and professionalism means a job well done. They also know that Karen is a fiercely loyal mom, friend and colleague who is passionate about service and giving back to her community.
After earning her BA from Salem State College in Massachusetts, Karen escaped the New England winters and moved to California, driving cross-country with only a pal and a AAA map. With her love of the outdoors, Karen found the California sunshine and laid back attitude to be a good fit – and she never looked back. In fact, she cemented her professional roots in the Golden State when she earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego.
In many ways, Karen’s balanced approach to life is echoed in her professional life. She has a passion for family, business and real estate cases and appreciates the versatility of her work. Karen is dedicated to helping clients as they navigate their cases, addressing each client’s individual needs with compassion and understanding. Above all, she loves that her work at Bennett & Bennett allows her to utilize her vast knowledge and experience while helping others.
You could say that helping others is the common denominator in Karen’s professional and personal life. She has made it her mission to volunteer and participate in many service projects with her daughters. Whether they are filling up a box with essential supplies for a local homeless woman living in her car, dedicating their time to All From the Heart, a charity that provides support to local military families in need or participating in Race for the Cure, Karen has made it a priority to integrate service into her family’s traditions.
When she isn’t working, you can find Karen spending time with her adult daughters, enjoying some good Greek food (a nod to her heritage) and relaxing at the beach.
