Rachael joined the Bennett and Bennett team as an Associate Attorney in the fall of 2015, bringing a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the firm. As the next generation of Bennett family attorneys, Rachael rounds out our powerhouse legal team. Since joining the firm’s family law practice, Rachael has hit the ground running. She’s handled just about every area of family law, including complex dissolution and high-asset property division cases, successful marital settlement negotiations, and high-conflict custody cases.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine School of Law, graduating at the top of her class. Rachael holds dual Bachelor Degrees in Political Science and International Studies from Pepperdine University, and a Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine School of Law. During law school, she was an editor for the Pepperdine Law Review, served in two judicial externships at the Riverside County Superior Court and externed for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, prosecuting cases of “home grown” terrorism and complex extradition matters. Rachael’s undergraduate studies involved rigorous training in multiple foreign languages; a Congressional internship at the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.; and a year abroad in Heidelberg, Germany, studying the various European political systems.
You’ll find this mover and shaker out and about, representing Bennett and Bennett at community, volunteer, and leadership events. As a voracious reader, Rachael’s “happy place” is pretty simple: A comfy chair with a good book and a glass of red wine.
